The beautiful Bitterroot mountains provide the perfect backdrop for conducting our hunts. Every glacially carved canyon is prime habitat for growing big old bears that rarely see any hunting pressure. You will see multiple bears daily, allowing us to target only the larger, more desirable trophies. This area is fortunate enough to have all color phases, with black and chocolate being the predominant colorings.
With a season running from April 15 - June 15 you could be able to enjoy all phases of the spring season, from finding big boars emerging from their dens perched high on rocky ledges in April, to the rut in late May and early June- where you glass large park areas looking for big boars chasing sows. There is no greater rush than getting a big boar in the glass!
Clients should expect to hike a few miles each day with most of the day spent behind the glass looking for a big bear. All our bear hunts are done by spot and stalk method. Multiple hunt methods can be accommodated, from archery, rifle, crossbow and muzzleloader hunters. These hunts include lodging in a comfortable modern home with fantastic meals.
All spring bear hunts are a low volume, high success program. This outfit only takes 1-2 clients a week to ensure each client has an outstanding hunt.
These spring black bear hunts are one of the greatest values in mountain hunting today!
