Sweepstakes Official Rules

1. Sponsor

These Hunt the West Sweepstakes (each, a “Sweepstakes”) are sponsored by Hunt The West, LLC, 8244 E Bonnie Rose Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85250 (“Sponsor”). By entering, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes.

2. Eligibility

Each Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 in Mississippi) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, its outfitters and prize providers, and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, children, grandparents and grandchildren, including in-laws and step-relations) and household members of each, are not eligible. Sponsor may decline entries from employees of competing businesses.

3. Sweepstakes Period

Each Sweepstakes began at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (“MST”) on September 15, 2025 and ends when all 1,000 available entries for that Sweepstakes have been claimed, whether by purchase, membership or mail-in (the “Sweepstakes Period”). Sponsor’s computer is the official timekeeping device. Mail-in entries must be received before the final entry is claimed; mail-in entries received after a Sweepstakes closes will not be accepted. The number of entries remaining is shown on each Sweepstakes page at huntthewest.com.

4. Prizes

One (1) prize will be awarded per Sweepstakes:

Unless expressly stated in the prize description, prizes do not include travel to and from the hunt location, hunting licenses or tags, firearms or ammunition, gratuities, taxes, taxidermy, meat processing or shipping, or any other expenses, all of which are the winner’s sole responsibility. Hunt dates are set by the outfitter and are subject to availability, applicable law and weather. No cash alternative. Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

5. How to Enter

There are three ways to enter. Every eligible entry, regardless of method, has the same chance of winning.

A. Purchase entries

Visit huntthewest.com during the Sweepstakes Period and purchase entries for the Sweepstakes of your choice at the price listed (currently $10 per entry).

B. Membership entries

Elite and Heritage members of Hunt the West receive two (2) entries into each annual Sweepstakes during an active membership. Members also receive one (1) additional entry for each new member they refer who names them when joining, up to eight (8) referral entries per Sweepstakes.

C. Free mail-in entry (no purchase necessary)

Handwrite on a 3” × 5” card your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, date of birth, and the name of the Sweepstakes you are entering (for example, “Texas Aoudad Hunt”). Mail it in a stamped envelope to:

One (1) entry per envelope. Each mail-in entry counts the same as one (1) purchased entry. Entries must be received during the Sweepstakes Period. Mechanically reproduced or incomplete entries are void.

6. Entry Limits

There is no limit on the number of entries a person may submit, by any method or combination of methods, other than the 1,000 total entries available per Sweepstakes. Mail-in entries remain limited to one (1) entry per envelope. Entries made through automated systems, scripts or third-party entry services, or by anyone other than the entrant, are void. Sponsor may void all entries of anyone it believes has tampered with the entry process.

7. Drawing and Odds

The winner of each Sweepstakes will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received, conducted by Sponsor on or about ten (10) days after that Sweepstakes Period ends. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for that Sweepstakes (up to 1,000).

8. Winner Notification and Verification

Potential winners will be contacted by phone and email within three (3) business days after the drawing. To claim a prize, a potential winner must:

• respond within forty-eight (48) hours of the first contact attempt;
• sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release and (where lawful) Publicity Release within seven (7) days of notification;
• provide proof of age, identity and residency, and a valid hunter education certificate number as required for the hunt; and
• provide a completed IRS Form W-9.

If a potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond or return documents in time, is found ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected from the remaining eligible entries.

9. Prize Conditions

The winner must be able to hunt on the dates set by the outfitter and meet all legal requirements to hunt the prize species and location, including obtaining any required licenses, tags and travel documents (including a valid passport for hunts in Mexico). A winner may transfer the prize one time, with Sponsor’s written approval, to an immediate family member who meets the eligibility requirements in Section 2 and agrees to these Official Rules. A winner who is a minor under the laws of their state, or a transferee who is a minor, must be accompanied by an eligible adult mentor at their own expense. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty of any kind, express or implied.

10. Taxes

The winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes on the prize. Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099 for prizes valued at $600 or more, based on the ARV.

11. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize the winner grants Sponsor the right to use their name, city and state of residence, photographs and likeness, and any photos or video from the hunt, for advertising and promotional purposes in any media, without further compensation or approval.

12. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy and will be used to administer the Sweepstakes and, if you opt in, to send you news and offers from Hunt the West.

13. General Conditions

Sponsor may disqualify any person it finds tampering with the entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes, violating these Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. If a Sweepstakes cannot run as planned for any reason beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, including fraud, technical failures or other events that corrupt its administration, security or fairness, Sponsor may cancel, modify or suspend it and award the prize by random drawing from eligible entries received before the action. If an entrant is found ineligible, Sponsor will refund any amounts paid for that entrant’s purchased entries. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, the entry will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address used.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY VIOLATE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14. Release and Limitation of Liability

BY ENTERING, YOU AGREE TO RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS SPONSOR, ITS OUTFITTERS AND PRIZE PROVIDERS, AND EACH OF THEIR OWNERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS (“RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES OR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH AND PROPERTY DAMAGE, ARISING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES OR THE ACCEPTANCE, USE OR MISUSE OF ANY PRIZE, INCLUDING ANY HUNT OR RELATED TRAVEL. THE WINNER MUST SIGN THE OUTFITTER’S WAIVER BEFORE THE HUNT.

Released Parties are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected or postage-due entries or mail; technical, network, computer or payment-processing failures; or any printing, typographical or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules.

15. Disputes and Governing Law

These Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be resolved individually, without resort to any class action, exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

16. Winners List

Winners will be announced on huntthewest.com and Hunt the West’s social media. For a written winners list, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the address in Section 5C, marked “Winners List,” within sixty (60) days after the drawing.

17. Official Rules

A written copy of these Official Rules is available by sending a stamped, self-addressed envelope to the address in Section 5C, marked “Rules Request,” or at huntthewest.com/pages/sweepstakes-official-rules.
